Defining the Ultimate Training Subscription Model

When we started down this Subscription SIG journey we initially set out to define all the types of training subscription models by attribute combinations but we realized there are hundreds of thousands of models if based on attribute combinations. We also began looking at what thought leaders in the Subscription Economy were saying about successful subscription models (e.g. the 9 Keys by Zuora Academy). I believe the later effort was touching on the right thing to do but not fully. I say “not fully” because, while we do want to learn from others, as Training Leaders, we should lead; We should define a vision of success then drive that – not define around historical limitations. With this in mind, let’s move forward by defining the ultimate training subscription model. That means defining the model with attributes that will most effectively drive timely, targeted consumption of training to meet, first and foremost, our bottom line objectives and secondly, our training revenue objectives.

Come to the next meeting with creativity and energy – we will build it in this session.
